Summer 2023 Bay Area Shakespeare Camps

Reimagined games and activities!
Our Education Workgroup works throughout the year, revamping favorite camp activities and adding new ones that reaffirm our mission of sharing Shakespeare’s work collaboratively, reflectively and through an anti-racist, community-minded lens.
Returning after last season's success is our new Players group, designed specifically for rising 6th-8th graders, ages 11-13. They'll work with a curriculum created specifically for this unique time of adolescence.

GROUNDLING CAMPERS (ages 7-10) and PLAYERS CAMPERS (ages 11-13) will meet with their own peers and delve into Shakespeare’s work, play theater games, and develop their performance skills. On the final day of the session (July 21 @ 2pm) all will act in their own version of a shortened Shakespeare play for an audience of  family and friends. Experience is welcome but not required to get into the act and have fun with your friends this summer!
